zidane deserves to be the best, he’s the inspirator of france and he played magical football, trully a football artist.. but if germany went to the final, probably ballack would be close to zidane.. klose, though only 5 goals, he also created goal chances to his teammate prince poldi, undoubtfully the best young player in the tournament.. buffon deserves as well as if only kahn were germany number one goalkeeper, things may have been different.. one argueable awardee is portugal as the most entertaining team beating italy (2nd) and germany (3rd).. portugal didn’t create many goals nor most shoots and also this team has plenty of tackles and cards not to mention the frequent diver: cristiano ronaldo.. germany played pretty much attractive game as italy and argentina.. in fact the quarter final between germany and argentina was the best match in the tournament..
