quarter final

in quarter final there are 5 former world champions (germany 3 times, italy 3 times, argentina 2 times, england once and france once) and 1 reigning champion (brazil 5 times).. 2 new potential teams are portugal and ukraine.. germany will play against argentina and italy play ukraine tomorrow, prediction: germany and italy win and will meet in the semifinal.. england will play against portugal and brazil play france: prediction england and brazil win and will play against each other in the 2nd semifinal.. interesting games to watch in quarter final would be germany vs argentina and brazil vs france.. not only that it is europe vs latin america but also both historical games bring back the memory of world cup finals.. 1990 final, germany played argentina and won its 3rd world champion..in 1998 final, brazil played france and lost 3-0 to give the trophy to zidance’s team as france 1st title as world champion.. this year 2006, my prediction says that last year final will be repeated and this time germany will beat the champion brazil and gain its 4th world champion.. it won’t be easy as brazil comes with an incredibly strong team and highly talented individuals: ronaldo, ronaldinho, ze roberto, roberto carlos and cafu.. but germany with ballack in the middle, lahm and schneider in the sideline, klose and podolski in front, shows highly remarkable play and really attractive to watch.. will see, may the best team win and hopefully it’ll be germany.. viva germany..emoticon

the first trisemester is over.. last nite was the the last day of the class and it ended with manac final exam..it looked pretty scary in the beginning but eventually the final was not that harsh.. so we have completed 3 subjects so far: ethics, priman and manac.. what do i get?.. well, for ethics scientifically is nothing! because most of the class activities were watching movie, story telling, in-depth article reading, philosofical cases, religious teaching.. but one important thing about this lesson is that we are becoming more aware that virtue ethics are so important that ones should apply good values in their lives, it’s not just in mind or intention but concretely in practice and problem solving.. without really realizing it, we gain stricter control of ourselves in everyday living and it feels good.. another activity that quite joyful in this class was shibashi, real relaxing and mind comforting as well.. priman is the most interesting subject within this trisemester.. it’s easier to digest, online quiz and exam, fun reporting activity, and the award nite.. our group, the builders came up with the starbucks setting on the first reporting and the apprentice on the 2nd.. both reportings were successful and all class members including prof king were loving it.. manacc was considered the hardest among the three.. it involved quite alot computation and because not many of class members have accounting background.. actually if the time were plenty, this subject could be interesting, and not that difficult.. overally all the three professor are nice and helpful but prof king is the one who is the closest to us.. she’s easily blended with us though she didn’t teach much, she just knew how to have fun while learning.. for my scores, i think i’ll get the best in priman and manac (though there’s another paper to submit) but i’m still not convinced about the ethics because the midterm paper wasn’t good (i think i misinterpreted prof dy’s way of thinking or vice versa).. for the next trisemester, there will be mansci, istran and maneco.. istran looks so fine, maneco is moderate but mansci is gonna be a nightmare.. well, we’ll see, everything comes around goes around..

viva germany

yes.. germany wins againemoticon.. and i finally got the chance to watch live telecast of the world cup in manilaemoticon.. i managed to watch it in discovery suites, near my place (200 meters), other places are edsa shangrilla (500 meters) and greenbelt malls in makati (taxi-distance).. with 300 pesos must-consumed items, it’s worth every minute of it.. so i could have two glasses of fresh orange and one big plate of french fries with thousand islands topping while watching klose and podolski making scores.. nice ha.. there were only few people and most of them were foreigners, the filipinos definitely have no sense of football and world cupemoticon.. german play’s getting much better.. it controlled the entire game.. i’ve got a strong feeling that germany will again make it to the final and probably will have a rematch against brazil.. the challenges along the way would probably be: argentina in the quarter final and italy/france in semifinal.. argentina is good and it has talented players(crespo, saviola, requelme, tavez).. it’ll be difficult to defeat.. but germany, as always, has its way to play the ball and the rhythm of the game and make it as a winning game all the way to the final.. for the semifinal, either italy nor france seems much easier to defeat.. the real game would be again the final between germany and brazil.. and this time with ballack on site, the golden world cup belongs to germany.. good luck guysemoticon..

world cup

germany world cup is on.. and it’s really too bad for me to be in the philippines.. the people of this country are definitely not soccer freak.. i hardly watch any game on tv.. i managed to watch several opening games while i was in thailand but now it’s absolutely none and i really hate it.. i will try to find some places where there’s live telecast on big screen.. my eternal favorite team, germany, has won 2 times and the play is getting better.. hopefully they make it through the final and meet brazil again so they can have their revenge game and this time germany will be the winner and 4th times world champion.. viva germany.. viva ballack..

tension vs sensation

it looks like an opposition.. sometimes it’s not.. it’s more like a sequence.. sensation will come greatly after high tension.. the higher the tension, the greater sensation coming.. and no sensational feeling without prior tense experience.. it happens in every aspect of life.. exam and result, weekdays and day off, competition and rewards, ramadhan and idhul fitri, world and hereafter, courting and marriage, pregnancy and new-born, being-away and homecoming.. so tension shouldn’t be something to complain about.. it’s can be an endowment.. be grateful and make it great..

" Usually a Sagittarius will come off as a blissfully happy man. In most cases, this first impression will prove accurate. His moronic enthusiasm cannot be dampened by anything - not even by a heavy storm falling on his head. He's optimistic, freedom loving, good sense of humor, honest, smart and sometimes philoshopical " (Read more | Find yours)
